For example the Parc Olímpic del Segre in Catalonia stands as a symbol of sustainability, blending recreational and environmental benefits. Meanwhile, the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, showcases how adventure tourism can invigorate local economies.
